Downstairs Update

There has been a lot of progress downstairs since I have last posted photos. Here are some accomplishments over the last month or so. The oak has been installed on the stairs!

John and I put the slate down in front of the back door.

I love that there is a toilet outside the window in this shot!

The plumbing was inspected and approved. John put in the tub and did the drywall, mud, paint etc!

The floor was filled and leveled.

Cork installation began. I had to drink a lot of wine to be able to use these cork cross sections but it was totally worth it!

After the mortar set the grout was applied. There are a couple spots that need rework as some of the cork pieces were irregular which makes the grout look funny. This can be see in this last photo. All in all, it's going to be cool!
